About The Brand

Veja is the French footwear brand with a difference. Since 2005 Veja has gained cult status by creating trainers that have one foot in design and the other in social and environmental responsibility.
Veja's innovative materials and production in Brazil as well as stunning French design have made it into undoubtedly one of the brands of the moment. We pride ourselves on our innovation and have had Veja in our collection since 2010.

Social responsibility is at the heart of everything that Veja does. The materials used in production include Brazilian and Peruvian organic cotton, wild Amazonian rubber and various recycled, upcycled and organic fabrics.
The name Veja translates as 'look' in Portuguese. It's all about looking beyond the trainers and into how they were made, how they were designed and understanding every step of the process. Veja has nothing to hide and is transparent about their Fair trade practices and every step of production and development.
Veja does not run ads. Marketing costs constitute up to 70% of the cost for many other big brand's trainers, Veja uses that saving to source and produce with only the highest social standards. You're investing in ethical materials and practices rather than fiction.

The self-declared goal is to create trainers which will stand the test of time. With established classics like the Campo and Esplar models, they've already acheived that.
The time put into designing each trainer means that Veja produces fewer different models and instead creates timeless classics.
2019 saw Veja's first foray into performace trainers with the launch of the Condor model, bringing ecological materials to technical excellence. Recent years has seen the expansion of this category with the Dekkan, Marlin and Impala models.
